🇺🇦🤝🇧🇬 We are glad to welcome to the team of the Alliance of National Communities «Європейська Коаліція» Yaroslav Kichuk — Rector of Izmail State University of Humanities, director of the «Центр розвитку Бессарабії» (Bessarabia Development Centre) and coordinator of the Council of Bessarabian Bulgarians.
We had a substantive working meeting at which we discussed the development of the Bulgarian national community, support for young people, the strengthening of inter-ethnic dialogue and further cooperation within the Alliance.
The Bulgarian community is one of the largest national communities in Ukraine, and most of its members live in Bessarabia. For centuries Bulgarians have preserved their own language, culture and traditions, while making a substantial contribution to the development of the Ukrainian state, its education, science, local self-government and economy.
For the Alliance of National Communities «Європейська Коаліція» it is extremely important that every national community should have strong representation, real opportunities for development, and an active part in shaping Ukraine’s future.
We continue to bring together leaders of national communities, educators, public figures and representatives of international partners around a common goal — building a European, democratic and strong Ukraine in which the rights of every person and every national community are an unconditional value.
We welcome Yaroslav Kichuk to the political and civic team of the Alliance of National Communities «Європейська Коаліція» and thank him for his trust and his readiness to cooperate. We are convinced that our cooperation will become the basis for new joint initiatives, for the development of Ukraine’s Bulgarian community and for stronger inter-ethnic unity.
