Roland Tseber, Chair of «Європейська Коаліція», and Taras Mynko, Head of the «УКРСАДПРОМ» Association, have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two organisations.
The «УКРСАДПРОМ» Association brings together Ukrainian companies, producers and specialists working in fruit growing, berry growing, the fruit and vegetable business, processing, exports and the development of Ukraine’s agricultural sector.
It matters to us that this Memorandum does not remain a merely formal document. It gives an immediate practical push towards real cooperation, the development of cross-border business, support for Ukrainian producers and the building of new economic bridges between Ukraine and Hungary.

The «Україна – Угорщина» forum in Berehove
With the support of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, and together with the «УКРСАДПРОМ» Association, we are beginning preparations for the forum «Україна – Угорщина: стратегічне партнерство, плодоовочевий та ягідний бізнес 2026» (“Ukraine – Hungary: strategic partnership, fruit, vegetable and berry business 2026”), which will take place on 24–25 July 2026 in the town of Berehove.
The forum is intended to become an important platform for direct dialogue between Ukrainian and Hungarian producers, entrepreneurs, investors, representatives of state institutions, experts, logistics companies, processors, farmers and the communities of the border regions.
Invitations will go to representatives of the fruit, vegetable and berry sector from Ukraine and Hungary, and to national communities already running or planning to develop businesses in fruit growing, berry growing, vegetable production, processing and exports.
Particular attention will be paid to the development of small and medium-sized business, to helping veterans start their own ventures, to setting up joint Ukrainian–Hungarian enterprises, to attracting investment, to introducing modern agricultural technologies, and to bringing Ukrainian produce to the markets of the European Union and third countries.
The forum programme covers the key themes that are of strategic importance to both countries today:
- political and legal dialogue, and market regulation;
- harmonising trade in fruit, vegetable and berry produce;
- cooperation in processing and the creation of high value-added products;
- phytosanitary standards and alignment with EU requirements;
- logistics, border infrastructure and transit through Hungary;
- Hungarian experience in agricultural insurance for fruit growing, berry growing and the fruit and vegetable business;
- agricultural technologies, innovation, biotechnology and the financing of joint projects.
Why this matters for the border region
For Zakarpattia, the Berehove district and the whole Ukrainian–Hungarian border area, this is a particularly important initiative. It is here that a working model of economic cooperation can be built — one that benefits people on both sides of the border.
The fruit, vegetable and berry business can become one of the strongest strands of the Ukrainian–Hungarian partnership. Ukraine has quality raw produce, hard-working growers and great potential in fruit and berry growing. Hungary has the experience, the logistics, the technology and access to European markets.
Together this can produce a strong result: new jobs, new enterprises, higher exports, modern processing, investment in border communities and genuine economic convergence between Ukraine and Hungary.
This forum marks the beginning of a new, practical stage of cooperation between Ukrainian and Hungarian business, between communities, farmers, national communities and state institutions.
«Європейська Коаліція» will continue working to ensure that Ukraine’s national communities are not only part of the cultural dialogue, but also active participants in economic development, international partnership and the European future of our country.
